Day #12…Wednesday, February 11, 2015
Sea Day #4 Heading to Brazil

Today we decided to be lazy and not plan too many activities.  There was little we were interested in as far as lectures and presentations.  We ate breakfast and went to the Calypso Pool to watch a movie.  That area is the location of the movie theater “under the stars” and they show feature films throughout the day and evening hours.

We met our friends, Judy and Frank, and played cards for a couple of hours then decided we would not eat in our regularly assigned dining room tonight.  We wanted to try an evening meal in the Horizon Court and were pleasantly surprised that the selection was much greater than we have at our regular dining room.  We met Frank and Judy and had a nice dinner with them.

We then met Bill and Stella and played euchre until late at the Vines Wine Bar.  We bought a wine package this cruise (our first time) and Bonnie still has not found a wine that suits her taste.  Dennis has found several that he likes and thus has drank most of the wine so far.

We sat in the Piazza and Stella enjoyed a coffee and then they showed us some beautiful artwork that they had purchased at the art auction today.   One painting was an original and so we know the price was very high.

Tomorrow is our last sea day before we have a port call in Salvador, Brazil.  We have had a letter stating that Brazilian consulate officers will be boarding the ship and processing each passport individually before we can get off the ship.  With approximately 2800 passengers, the process will probably take considerable time.
