Sea Day #2 Heading to Pisco, Peru
Litter Police

We had another lazy sea day and did very little around the ship.  After breakfast, we attended a destination lecture titled “Calleo (Lima), Peru” in the Princess Theater.   Dennis is feeling better, but did have to leave early due another coughing spell.

Stella visited the medical center last night and was given three (3) medications for her respiratory infection.  She said she is already feeling better, but was complaining about the cost of her visit and meds ($235.00).  We have heard others talking about medical center bills that have exceeded $1,000, so evidently there are some really sick people on board.

We are relieved that we have heard of no passenger deaths on this cruise so far.  The average passenger age is probably about 75 years and many have mobility issues.  Some passengers do not appear to be in very good general health so it would not surprise us if at least one passed away while we are sailing.

The temperature is getting warmer and today the high was forecasted to be 72° F.  We sat outside on our balcony and then headed to the pool and enjoyed the pleasant weather outside.  Dennis is improving and so we should have a good day in the Paracas region of Peru tomorrow.

We had dinner in our main dining room and then attended a show in the Princess Theater.  The vocalist entertainer was Christopher Riggins from Nashville, Tennessee and we enjoyed his performance.

Another game show was on our agenda tonight as we attended the “Yes/No Game” in the Explorer’s Lounge.  Contestants had to answer questions without using the words “yes” or “no” or headshaking or any other word or gesture that would indicate an affirmative or negative answer.

We set our clocks back one hour tonight.  We will be getting up and boarding a shuttle bus in the morning to visit Pisco (Paracas), Peru.
