Sea Day #2…Heading to Costa Rica
This is our last lazy day before we dock in Costa Rica. It is very warm and humid and we have spent
little time in the sun. We tried to find
a shady pool chair area to relax and read.
Bonnie likes the frozen coffees and found they are refreshing on these
hot, humid days. It will be interesting
to see how long we last in the hot sun tomorrow.
We attended a destination lecture for San Juan Del Sur,
Nicaragua this morning. We have
scheduled a Princess excursion and will probably not cancel our booking. It continues to get hotter and hotter here
and the heat is really bothering Bonnie.
We also attended a video screening about the Amazon
River. The area is intriguing but we
have little desire to spend much time there.
Too many snakes and other critters for us!
Dinner in the main dining room tonight offered a great menu
of lobster and steak. Surf and turf are
our favorites. Later we were entertained
in the Princess Theater by Oli Nez, a muti-instrumentalist.
Tomorrow we will be arriving early at Puntarénas,
Costa Rica. The pier is very long and
narrow and we have been advised to wait until the tour buses leave the pier
before de-boarding the ship. We plan to
spend the day with Judy and Frank and find our own private tour of the city.
